PUFF & PLOOM Holiday 17 LOOKBOOK
Introducing our first collaboration collection with longtime friend, Soor Ploom.
Drawn together by our similar sensibilities, love of classic styles, and quality materials, our first collection together feels like a very natural extension of what we are already doing: Marissa, making exquisitely cut wovens in Brooklyn, and me (Anna of M&P) making knits in Peru. But we added a twist. Marissa would design the knits and I would design the wovens. That was the jumping off point. After initial concepts, we handed it back over to each other to work out all the details. The result: a really unique collection of 5 styles in truly luxury materials. For knits we sourced a blend of cashmere and merino (cashmere adds softness and loft while the merino helps stabilize, add strength and hard-wearing.) The wovens come in a very rare Liberty of London floral print made out of a wool/cotton twill, and a custom dyed fine wale corduroy - feeling like velvet, but less fussy. All perfectly warm, and cozy fabrics for holiday dressing. Enjoy!
