Courtney Reynolds — Worms Do Crafts
This season we connected with Courtney Reynolds and her twins to share their favorite craft.
Courtney and her twin (worms) Maggie & Bobbie live in Southern California with 8 chickens, 42 pigeons, 1 bullfrog, 2 dogs, Courtney’s best friend and one brother.
Here is their candle craft how to in our Summer Collection.

Homemade candles is a craft we do pretty often in our home. Its hands on, little mess, easy for tiny fingers to manipulate and makes a really great gift or special accent in your home.
I've been wanting to have a ladies wine nite where we hang out and decorate these.. maybe before the holidays!
We start by using store bought candles, they can be any size or shape, but a smooth texture is best for getting the wax details to stick. I use Stockmar decorating wax strips. They come in packets of varying colors.
These can be as rudimentary or elaborate as you'd like. We made these last November with our Cub Scout Pack to sell at the Christmas tree lot. Some were full, with giant chunks of abstract color and others were ornate with very specific designs.
As detailed or as minimal as they turn out they look so happy and alive mixed together in a table setting. Have fun :)
